Laboratory supervisor – sgs – 2025 – 2026
  • ICP-OES operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Liaising with the manager and contractors for onsite repairs.
  • Data QA/QC and timely delivery to the client.
  • Defining priorities for laboratory operations.
  • Analysis of 150+ samples / shift (12h shift). Samples origin: Li processing plant (80%), Li shipments (15%), Li exploration (5%).
  • Key elements: Li, Fe. Secondary elements: Al, Si, Mg, Mn, K.
Laboratory scientist – 2h Resources – 2025
  • Design of an innovative front-end injection system for a micro-gas chromatograph (micro-GC).
  • Analysis of soil gas samples (H2 and He).
  • Calibration of the micro-GC, daily data QC, data correction and interpretation.
Geologist – Buru Energy – 2024
  • Method development and optimisation for an XRF scanning campaign.
  • Creation of new reference and calibration materials.
  • Data QA/QC and interpretation.
  • Integration of geochemical and other well data for regional interpretation of reservoir distribution.
  • Writing technical reports for regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with the Canning Basin, particularly Ordovician and Permian dolomitic reservoirs.
Geologist – Chemostrat – 2022-2023
  • Sampling, XRF data acquisition (at rig, core library, or laboratory), data interpretation, and delivery of reports to clients, in a timely manner.
  • Desktop XRF operation and troubleshooting.
  • Data QA/QC and interpretation.
  • Building stratigraphy frameworks and correlations (field-scale to basin-scale). Integration of wireline, petrology and mineralogical (XRD) data to the geochemical datasets.
  • Real-time geochemical analyses during drilling to inform operational decisions (picking casing and coring points).
  • Developing new business in Australia, and securing new clients and contracts.
  • Extensive experience within the Perth and Adavale Basins, and familiarity with the Eromanga, Canning, Gippsland, and Carnavon Basins.

  • Analysis of the preservation of microfossils through early diagenetic processes.
